Artistic poster with the inscription “Jin Jiyan Azadî” in Latin and Kurdish letters. The inscription features peshmerge and guerrilla women in uniform. They symbolize the essential content of the Kurdish saying. “Jin Jiyan Azadî” is quoted again in green, but in Kurdish script. The artwork was created by Raz Xaidan (The Darling Beast) and was donated for the purpose of raising funds for the non-governmental organization (NGO) Hengaw.
Hengaw is a human rights organization based in Rojhilat Kurdistan (Iran) reporting on the Iranian regime’s crimes against Kurds. Since the murder of Jina Amini by the so-called moral police, protests have flared up across Iran. Due to the regime’s repressive policies, minorities in the country are particularly affected by violence. People are beaten, abducted, tortured, raped and/or murdered every day. The internet is turned off to stop the flow of information to the outside world.
Hengaw reports on the situation every day. The wonderful reporting and statistical balances they do every day help us stay informed about the situation. However, this workload must also be financed in order to maintain it. Therefore it is important to donate funds to the NGO Hengaw. By purchasing a poster you are supporting Hengaw. All profit goes to Hengaw. The Darling Beast (Raz Xaidan) donates the design from their exhibition and Passarname (Passar Hariky) donates the production of the posters.
